Pearl was born from a simple belief: that the clothing we wear and the objects we surround ourselves with should be as beautiful and timeless as the coastline itself. Inspired by the natural elegance of a pearl, our boutique is a curated collection of apparel, home goods, and art that brings the serene, chic spirit of Half Moon Bay into your everyday life. Meet Kelly
As a painter, my work has always been a conversation with the coast. The shifting colors of the water, the texture of the fog, and the quiet rhythm of life here in Half Moon Bay are my greatest inspirations.
Before opening Pearl, I spent over 25 years in the beauty industry, where I developed a deep passion for clean, thoughtful ingredients and everyday rituals that feel good for you and your skin.
I created Pearl to bring those worlds together. It’s a space where my artistic eye and love of clean beauty can shape a collection of apparel, objects, and skincare from creators I truly admire. This boutique is a new expression of my love for this place and for the art of living well—on your skin, in your home, and in your wardrobe.
The Manager
Meet Tatiana
As the manager of Pearl, Tatiana is the friendly face that will greet you at the door and the guiding hand that helps our space run smoothly every day.
With a bachelor's degree in Environmental Design and experience from her travels abroad, Tatiana brings a passion for beautiful objects and a keen eye for detail to our boutique.
Working closely with Kelly, Tatiana helps to source our unique collection and ensures that every visit to Pearl is a warm and memorable experience.
The Stylist
Meet Jasmine
With more than 25 years of experience helping people express their individuality through beauty and style, Jasmine brings a creative eye for color, texture, and design to Pearl.
Whether she’s curating outfits or styling displays, her goal is simple — to make clients feel confident and inspired. Outside the boutique, she enjoys crafting, event planning, and leading sound healing sessions, always blending creativity with connection.
The Connector
Meet Ash
Our resident Canadian ray of sunshine, Ash brings over 20 years of customer-service experience to Pearl. She’s known for her easy way with people and her talent for turning even a quick visit into a bright spot in your day. Whether she’s creating playful social content or hyping you up to try on that sparkly dress, Ash is always the first to cheer you on.
Outside the shop, Ash channels that same big-hearted energy into her love for animals. She’s a devoted advocate for animal welfare, has fostered countless dogs, and helped them find their forever homes. It absolutely makes her day when you bring your furry friends into Pearl to say hi.
The Muse
Meet Pearl
Of course, none of this would be possible without the boutique's namesake and biggest inspiration. Pearl the bulldog has been my studio mate and partner in crime for years. Her charming personality and appreciation for a good nap are a constant reminder to savor the simple, beautiful moments.
When you visit the boutique, you'll likely find her supervising from her favorite chair. She is, and always will be, the pearl behind it all.
